the price of being a hypochondriac

Apparently, today it costed me €40. Yes people, FORTY EUROS which is equivalent to about RM200! erkkk... (Fatin, please don't ever convert things again!! You can get a heart attack thinking about it)

Anyway, here's the story.

I've been having this slight achy tooth pain for a few days, so I decided to go for a dental check-up because I thought it might be a cavity or something. The food always got stuck there as well. I went to the dentist last Wednesday and got my appointment booked on Friday. It was the dentist that Azyan and Aini went to before. (byk nya sebut nama azi these past few entries?? kan?? haha.. what a co-inciDENTAL). Every minute I kept thinking of the teeth, like a real hypochondriac and imagining that there might be a cavity. So yes, I was really looking forward to the appointment.
Finished my class early, called the clinic and asked whether I could come earlier and the receptionist-cum-partner dentist said yup, I can come earlier. So I went there with a little faint hope in my heart?mind? that there wouldn't be a cavity.
The dentist did the inspection and everything a dentist would do and said that everything is perfectly alright. But I kinda insisted that there is pain, and I was afraid that it might be between the teeth. So he did an Xray(that's where the bulk of the 40euros went to I guess) which is a bit hard to do on my mouth because of my TMJ thingy. So I had to try hard to open my mouth real big. Then after taking the Xray, he then claimed again that everything is perfect and I don't have to worry. The only thing I have to worry is about my wisdom teeth, because there are two that are farrrr in the back and in a position that have risks of developing cavity etc, so he suggested that I removed them. But I said that I'll think about it. (The thing is, I love my wisdom teeth, I don't want to pull them out :(
Before leaving, both the dentist and the partner asked me when I'd like to book for an appointment. I just smiled and say I'll think about it. (maybe when there's any symptoms, I'll go for a check up again.. ) The partner dentist also suggested that I use a children toothbrush since they thought that the pain is because of my sensitive gum. Which I think so too. And gave me two tubes of sample toothpaste for sensitive gums. Okla tu, dapat gak something. hehe

But the bottomline is, Alhamdulillah, everything is alright. Just that I can get a coat for the price of that! hihi.. takpala, at least I won't have to think about it too much anymore!Okay, kena tgk episode 14 ni!!!!
